Birddog's Way-Da-Go Yogi MH X Birddog's Risky Business "Roulette"
We spent a significant time considering who would be the best choice for Roulette’s first litter with the goals of producing puppies with the ultimate personality for family companions, therapy or service work and various working types of homes (hunting, hunt tests, SAR, etc). These puppies are bred to have a strong natural/off switch, loaded with potential to go any direction and still be phenomenal companions.
This will be an all black litter with all of the puppies carrying chocolate and yellow factor.
Due around June 19th and will be ready to go in August when they turn 8 weeks old!

Yogi is the absolute best at both worlds! He is high drive in the field and loves to work. He was professionally trained by Rusty Haglund (Trigger Time Kennels) and earned his Master Hunter title as a 2 year old! Yet when it comes to time in the house, Yogi is great at turning off the energy. He is a wonderful companion and so easy to have around the house. He is very affectionate and is always doing whatever he can to earn the “good boy Yogi.”
Yogi is a very well bred dark chocolate male out of FC Nan-dool Elwood Blues (FC AFC River Oaks Way-Da-Go Rocky X FC AFC Echos Triple Ruff N Ready) and Rebel Ridge Jamaican Me Crazy MH (FC AFC Way-Da-Go Call of the Wild X FC AFC Rebel Ridge’s Devil’s Luck MH).

Roulette is clear of everything she was tested for other than being a carrier for Stargardt. None of her puppies will ever be affected because she will only be bred with dogs that are tested clear of Stargardt.

We always knew we wanted to keep a Raider puppy and had our eyes on the cross with Liberty. We knew there was the potential to produce fire-breathing dragons, but it was a risk we were willing to take. When we selected Roulette, she was the highest drive, highest energy, most dominant and most independent puppy of the litter. She also happened to be very affectionate and people focused. Much to our surprise Roulette ended up being an extremely easy and pleasant puppy to raise and train. She has proven to be very similar to both Raider and Liberty in the field. This girl is a beast! She absolutely loves to train and hunt. Her can-do happy attitude, paired with her teamwork mentality makes it easy.. She is so intuitive with people and also very sweet and affectionate. The biggest surprise with Roulette, is that she has an extremely strong natural on/off switch. She is excellent in the house and a complete joy to have around.
