We are thrilled to share the news that Ditto has been bred with Loki!  We have an outstanding all chocolate litter on the way!

These puppies will be able to do it all, have it all and look good in the process! In short they will be the TOTAL package! This litter was specifically bred to have the ultimate family friendly temperaments, intelligence and natural instincts to make versatile working dogs, affectionate and people focused personalities and a strong natural on/off in the house. 

This litter also has some of the best “old blood” that is hard to find up close in the pedigree. Loki is a direct son of the legendary FC AFC CFC CAFC Barracuda Blue MH.  Ditto has an extremely strong pedigree and is from our 3rd breeding between FC GRHRCH Maestro MH QA2 and Maggie MH25.

Loki was unplanned addition to Bird Dog Labs in 2015. We saw an incredible opportunity and jumped when we had the chance. Loki has matured into an extremely handsome male. He has a very blocky head with a strong yet compact build. He has a great disposition and a silly personality. He is extremely affectionate and loves getting affection. Loki is the kind of dog that is super easy and enjoyable to have around. Excellent natural on/off to him.  In the field Loki marks well, handles and will get the job done. Loki absolutely loves to hunt, especially grouse and upland. He is a methodical hunter and uses his nose to find the birds that are in more difficult cover. Loki is definitely a team player type of dog and will stay close when upland hunting. He quarters beautifully and tends to always be aware of where his hunter is at.

Ditto is a beautiful dark chocolate girl. She has the sweetest personality and is the living definition of team player. Ditto will do anything she can to please. She learns quickly and has many strong natural attributes that makes her truly excel at upland hunting. Ditto is very athletic and agile. She quarters naturally and uses her nose to dig out the birds in deeper/thick cover. Ditto loves waterfowl hunting as well. She lives as part of the family and is an excellent house dog. She is very sweet and affectionate. She is more of a medium energy girl, with an excellent on/off switch! Just and all around great girl!
