We have always planned to do something with Mystique that was a little different and very special. This is the one!!!

This will be an all black litter! All puppies will carry chocolate factor and some will also carry yellow factor. 

FC AFC Razor’s Buckshot NDL “Shooter” has been on our radar for years.  His exceptional talent and consistent performance has been evident from an early age.  He has qualified for 8 Nationals and is a 5x National Finalist! Shooter is still actively running in field trials. As of October 1st, he has 113 All Age Points.

Clearly these puppies are bred for performance and working ability. They are also bred for is outstanding, family friendly personalities that will also make them wonderful companions. 

Another little cherry on top is that this is a perfect FC AFC Wood River’s Franchise “Shaq” line breeding! Mystique and Shooter’s mom are both granddaughters of Shaq!

Also for the chocolate folks, these puppies will carry a very unique chocolate lineage. Mystique is the only chocolate dog in her pedigree for over 14 generations!  Her chocolate comes from the HOF FC AFC Snake Eyes Double or Nothin’ and HOF 2xNFC CNFC AFC Del Tone Colvin.

We are accepting a very limited number of deposits now. Once the pregnancy is confirmed, we will accept more deposits at that time.

Shooter was tested via PPG before it was sold to Orivet. I personally saw his genetic testing results before Orivet took down the entire site. Because I provide proof of genetic testing to all puppy buyers, I tested him via Embark and am waiting the results. Shooter is an insanely talented field trial dog and is known as Mr. Consistent! Shooter is an 8x National Qualifier and a 5x National Finalist!  As of October 1, 2025, Shooter has earned a whopping 113 All Age points and is ranked at #12 AA dog in the country! Let’s just say it is very safe to say Shooter lives up to his reputation and is an incredible performer. His record speaks for itself. 

When Shooter is not performing, he is a very happy dog that is easy to have around. He loves everyone he meets and is the kind of dog that has never met a stranger. His owner Larry has said Shooter comes in the house during the day, but sleeps in his luxury kennel at night. 

When I met Shooter for the first time, his extremely friendly personality was obvious. He let me come right up to him to get a cheek swab (for genetic testing) and then he sat for a couple of photos. I don’t think photos do him justice. Shooter is a very handsome and athletic dog! 

Shooter’s pedigree is second to none! Shooter’s sire is the highly sought after FC Sweetie’s Easy Rider “Ford”. Ford is nominated for the 2025 Retriever Hall of Fame! Ford was a 3xNational Finalist and has 158 All Age points. Ford is a son of NFC AFC Chopper and FC Sweetie. Shooter’s dam is Razor’s Da Cutting Edge QFTR JFTR SH. She is a daughter of FC AFC Wood River’s Franchise “Shaq.” Shaq is also a highly sought after dog for what he accomplished and what he produced. Mystique is an extremely sweet and affectionate girl that loves to work! She is a higher energy female and boy can she run! She is the kind of dog that keeps you on your toes, just because of her speed. Yet she goes out of her way to work with you and does everything she can to please. Mystique is an excellent marking dog and doesn’t give up when she has to dig the birds out of the thicker cover. She is crazy smart and learns new concepts quickly. Mystique is a very fun dog in the field/boat, but a total cuddle bug in the home. Mystique has an awesome on/off switch and is perfectly content to follow me around, lay down and chew an antler or cuddle up for lovies.
