Knowing this will be Deja’s final litter, we wanted to do something that would be out of this world special! After looking into countless other stud options, we decided that the AFC Coolwater’s The Man Behind The Curtain “Wizard” was the one!
This is a once in a lifetime type of breeding! These will be some of the nicest all around black puppies available anywhere in the country! They will be big, beautiful black puppies that can go any direction! They will be perfect for various kinds of field work all the while being your best buddy in the home.
We are creating a wait-list now. Our plan is to hold off accepting deposits until the litter is born. Deja scheduled to have a cesarean on July 9th. The puppies will be ready September 3rd.

Wizard is a big beautiful, extremely talented young black male that has a performance record that already speaks for itself!
As a 2 year old Wizard was the second youngest dog to become a Double Header Winner.
As a 2 year old Wizard was the youngest dog to qualify and run both the National Open and the National Amateur.
Wizard’s breeder, owner, trainer and handler Alex Washburn describes Wizard as a big goofball! He is very animated, expressionistic and overall just a big happy boy. He easily adjusts to living in the house or spending time in the kennel. When they travel Wizard comes into the hotels and is welcome wherever he goes. When it comes to working he is all business. Alex says he is a rock solid statue on the line. Wizard is now 3 years old and just really getting into his field trial career. This is a dog to follow!
Wizard’s pedigree is second to none. He is a son of FC AFC Coolwater’s Knockout who is a son of NFC AFC FC Five Star General Patton and AFC Coolwaters Makin Trax. Wizard’s dam is FC AFC Coolwater’s Hooked on Springtime who is out of FC AFC Windy CIty’s Bent Tail and FC AFC Windy CIty’s Springtime.

Birddog's Goodtime Deja Vu
Deja is an absolutely gorgeous dark chocolate female that is simply amazing. Deja is a 3rd generation of our foundation line and is from our 1st breeding between FC GRHRCH WBF’s Man On The Stand MH QA2 and Birddog’s Goodtime Magnet MH25. Deja is simply a beast in the field. She a great upland and waterfowl hunter. She has a strong nose and the determination to dig up even the trickiest birds in difficult cover. She has a fantastic memory and is a great marker. She has always been a quick learner and was one of my easiest puppies to raise and train. I should have put her in to professional training for titling, but I honestly could not send her away. She is my girl through and through. I call her one of my primary “shadows”. Deja has a strong natural on/off switch as well as huge desire to please. This girl will literally do anything to try to please me. She is so calm in the house and happy to just stick by my side on days when we cannot train or hunt. Deja is the perfect house companion.
